Washing and care
Washing and care
Before first use:
Wash them by hand or at 30°C with detergent and no fabric softener.
This is necessary to relax the absorbent fibers, which will allow for maximum absorbency.
Otherwise, they will not be waterproof. You can wear them for 12 hours!
After wearing them:
Rinse them under running water until it runs completely clear.
Then wash them with the rest of your laundry at 30°C with detergent and no fabric softener, and
let them air dry away from any heat source. Never put them in a
tumble dryer or on a radiator. They will last significantly less time.
You can wash them by hand if you prefer.
Victoria menstrual panties are the perfect choice for summer days and medium flow menstruation.
Made from comfortable, breathable cotton, they are thin and very elastic, completely invisible under clothes – even with light-colored or tight-fitting garments.
Their discreet design makes them ideal for summer:
the protective layer ends halfway down the buttocks, so there's no extra layer where it's not needed — which also means less sweating.
Why you'll love them:
– Breathable and feel like regular panties
– No "diaper" feeling
– Reusable, easy to wash and can be used for years
– An ecological and economical alternative to pads and tampons

How to use Loona menstrual panties?
You're probably wondering how all this works, how long it lasts, how to wash it...
We'll show you everything, and if we haven't answered your questions here or in the FAQ section, feel free to contact us here or on Instagram and we'll answer all your questions.
The panties are made of three layers that together provide comfort and safety.
It was important to us that only natural and high-quality materials come into contact with the skin.
First layer: made of cotton and quickly transfers liquid to the super absorbent layer.
No unpleasant odors, no plastic against the skin, no foreign body in the body!
Second layer: made of bamboo and absorbs from 2 to 5 tampons, depending on the model.
The third layer is impenetrable and guarantees no leaks! We promise!
How to use?
Before you use them (yes, even before the first use!):
Wash your Loona menstrual panties at 30° with detergent without fabric softener. You can also wash them by hand!
This is necessary to relax the absorbent fibers, which will allow maximum absorbency. Otherwise, they will not be waterproof.
Can I wash my Loona menstrual panties with bar soap?
It is recommended not to wash them with bar soap as it will clog the absorbent fibers and make them less effective.
Why should fabric softener be avoided?
Fabric softener can damage the seams of Loona menstrual panties and make them less absorbent in the long run.
And what after washing?
Leave them to air dry. Once dry, they are ready to use!
After you've worn them: Rinse your Loona menstrual panties with cold water until the water runs clear.
Then put them in a mesh laundry bag, wash them with the rest of your laundry and let them dry. You can wash them by hand if you prefer.
Why should I wash them with cold water?
High heat affects stains that may remain on the fabric of the panties.
Why should I avoid the dryer and iron?
Heat could, over time, reduce the waterproofness of menstrual panties.
