Collection: For Girls

We've chosen designs and materials that are suitable for girls and young women. But older women are also welcome to wear them if they wish! :-)

Made from cotton and bamboo fabric, they have exceptional absorbency, and feel just like wearing regular cotton briefs.

How do I know which model to choose?

For first periods, we recommend:

The Sena model is cotton and thin, hipster cut, perfect for first cycles.

Sava and Tara are classic-cut cotton models with patterns that girls love.

Morava also has a classic cut, made of bamboo fabric, plain-colored.

If there is immediate heavy bleeding, we recommend Elba or Loara. The heaviness of bleeding is quite individual; we will try our best to help with the choice. If you change your pad:

Every 3–4 hours → moderate flow
Every 2–3 hours → heavy flow
Every 1–2 hours → very heavy flow

If you have sudden gushes or night leaks — always choose a stronger model.

If you are unsure, we recommend "universal" models because they are very thin but highly absorbent: Elba, Tisa, and Loara.

How to choose a size?

How to choose a size for a girl?

Moms most often ask us this — “she wears a 12, which one should I get?”

Approximately:

10 → XXS / XS
12 → XS
14 → XS or S
16 → S

Girls at this age grow quickly, and two friends who both wear a "14" can have completely different body types, so it's best to just measure the hips once and check our size chart, which is located with each model above all available sizes.

It literally takes 5 seconds, and we'll avoid exchanges.

If you are between two sizes:
• for a slimmer build, take the smaller one
• for a curvier build or if she's growing fast – take the larger one

How do you wash them?

How to wash Loona menstrual underwear?

Loona underwear is easy and hygienic to wash, without high temperatures or special treatment.

1. Rinse them with cold water immediately after wearing.
Cold water prevents blood from "baking" into the fibers and allows it to be easily rinsed out of the absorbent layer.

2. Wash them in the machine at 30–40°C with regular laundry.
Add only detergent (no fabric softener), as fabric softener can reduce absorbency.

3. Air dry them.
Tumble drying or high heat is not recommended.

Why wash them this way?

Loona underwear has multiple technical layers made of special materials:

The first permeable layer directs blood downwards but does not retain it — which is why it rinses out easily with cold water.

Absorbent layers distribute liquid over a larger surface, preventing clumping and stains.

Antibacterial and breathable materials prevent bacterial buildup, so there are no unpleasant odors.

Therefore, there's no need for boiling, harsh chemicals, or anything complicated — the underwear remains clean, odor-free, and ready for reuse.

All materials are OEKO-TEX certified - completely safe for human health.

What if I'm still wrong or I don't like them at all?

We know it's hard to switch from pads and tampons to period underwear for the first time.
That's why we want you to try it risk-free.

Try one cycle – then decide

Feel free to use the underwear for one cycle.
If you then decide it's not for you and you want to go back to pads – we'll refund your money.

What if I get the wrong size?

For an exchange to be possible, we recommend trying the underwear over your own underwear the first time. If the size doesn't fit and the underwear hasn't been worn – an exchange is simple:

  1. We arrange for a courier to pick up the underwear from you
  2. We send a new, suitable size
    We split the shipping cost:
  • you pay 400 din upon receiving the new size
  • we cover the other shipping cost

This way, you can order without worry – the worst that can happen is that we change the size.
