Sizing and usage tips

And for the first use, don't forget that it's best to start by testing at home, so you can see how things unfold at your own pace. Our goal is to make things easier for you! :)

If you're torn between two sizes, take the larger one; you'll be more comfortable.

Choose a model based on your flow intensity, so you can wear Loona period panties for up to 12 hours without risk of leaks or feeling damp!

How do you know when to change them?

Rely on your own feeling and change them when you start to feel damp.

Washing and care

Before first use:

Wash them by hand or at 30°C with detergent and no fabric softener.

This is necessary to relax the absorbent fibers, which will allow for maximum absorbency.

Otherwise, they will not be waterproof. You can wear them for 12 hours!

After wearing them:

Rinse them under running water until it runs completely clear.

Then wash them with the rest of your laundry at 30°C with detergent and no fabric softener, and
let them air dry away from any heat source. Never put them in a
tumble dryer or on a radiator. They will last significantly less time.

You can wash them by hand if you prefer.

Niagara period underwear absorbs as much as five tampons. If you have a heavy flow, you'll be protected for 6 to 12 hours! They are suitable for medium to heavy flow.

What's really great: no odor, no wet feeling, no discomfort, no leaks, even at night.

Innovative technology allows for excellent absorbency, yet they are thin, lightweight, and extremely comfortable.

Niagara can also be worn during the postpartum period.

How to use Loona menstrual panties?

You're probably wondering how all of this works, how long it lasts, how to wash it...

We'll show you everything, and if we haven't answered your questions here or in the FAQ section, feel free to contact us here or on Instagram, and we'll answer all your questions.

The panties are made of three layers that together provide comfort and security.

It was important to us that only natural and high-quality materials come into contact with the skin.

First layer: made of cotton and quickly transfers liquid to the super absorbent layer.

No unpleasant odors, no plastic against the skin, no foreign body in the body!

Second layer: made of bamboo and absorbs 2 to 5 tampons, depending on the model.

The third layer is impenetrable and guarantees no leaks! We promise!

How to use?

Before you use them (yes, even before the first use!):

Wash your Loona menstrual panties at 30° with detergent without fabric softener. You can also wash them by hand!

This is necessary to relax the absorbent fibers, which will allow maximum absorbency. Otherwise, they will not be waterproof.

Can I wash my Loona menstrual panties with solid soap?

It is recommended not to wash them with solid soap as it will clog the absorbent fibers and make them less effective.

Why avoid fabric softener?

Fabric softener can damage the seams of Loona menstrual panties and make them less absorbent in the long run.

And what after washing?

Let them air dry. Once dry, they are ready to use!

After wearing them: Rinse your Loona menstrual panties with cold water until the water runs clear.

Then put them in a mesh laundry bag, wash them with the rest of your laundry, and let them dry. You can wash them by hand if you prefer.

Why should I wash them with cold water?

High heat affects stains that may remain on the fabric of the panties.

Why avoid the dryer and iron?

Heat could, over time, reduce the waterproofness of menstrual panties.
