Because everything started there!
...2021, I bought and tried menstrual underwear for the first time (and paid over 100 EUR for 3 pieces!) — after the publication of a major study on toxins and heavy metals found in pads and tampons.
Thus, in December 2023, Loona was created, out of a desire to provide our women with quality, reliable, and affordable reusable protection.
Today, as Loona celebrates its second birthday, and as we enter December — a month of gratitude and giving — I wanted to do something special for some of you (I can't for everyone, though I'd love to) who believe in Loona, who wear it, recommend it, and who, along with me, are changing the way we care for ourselves.
You yourselves know how skeptical you were when you had to try them for the first time, which is why it's most important to me that you share your experience with others, an experience that, almost without exception, changed your life during menstruation. That's why I'm launching the Loona competition.

How to participate?
Women who are just now trying Loona underwear for the first time can also enter the competition — all they need to do is buy their pair in December, try them on, and share their honest experience.
To participate in this competition — whether you've been with us from the beginning or have just discovered the brand, here's what you need to do:
- You must have purchased Loona menstrual underwear or swimwear (Whether it's your first pair or your fifth — all are welcome.)
- You must share your experience with us: you don't have to film yourself if you don't want to, although that's certainly the best way to convey the message. It can also be a product photo or unboxing...
No later than December 27th, you need to send us your experience with Loona menstrual underwear — in the form of a photo with text or a video.
Share with us what situation it saved you in, whether you were skeptical at first, film your favorite model and why. Let your imagination run wild! On December 28th, we will select the most creative responses that will be shortlisted, and then all the winners.
